Dear {FIRSTNAME},
"Ezine Publishers Flood Your Opt-In
List with NEW Subscribers Day in Day Out"
You've heard how important it is to build a list for your online business
activities. But how? Even experienced ezine publishers struggle with list
building. And most of the time it's because they forget the basics.
There are two basic strategies to build an opt in list, generate your own
traffic and try to convert each new visitor to subscribe to your ezine.
Or use other peoples traffic to convert into subscribers to your ezine
The first one is slow and cumbersome, and frustrating for anyone but
the most experienced and well known marketer.
The second one is fast, simple and easy to use. You can get started in
minutes. And it's completely free to set up. More important though, it's
unstoppable. Your list will continue to increase indefinitely.
I want to tell you about a joint venture between me, Terry Dean,
Diane Hughes, Harmony Major, Jason Tasari and Robert Plank, which was
intended for our own personal use. It turned out to be an incredibly
successful exercise resulting in all of our ezines "DOUBLING" their daily
opt in subscription rate.
If you look at the names above you will see one that doesn't fit in
Robert Plank is not known for his marketing prowess :) he is however
one of the best programmers I ever worked with, but he couldn't build
a list to save his life.
Terry, me and Diane do know how to build a list however, we used method
two and built a set it and forget it list building machine that powered Robert
Planks list with out him ever having to know much about list building at all.
We used each others thank you page traffic to generate a stunning increase
in subscription rates, and Robert Planks programming skills to build the script
to automate it. Now we all send each other boat loads of new subscribers
Now you can join the fun, we extended the script so everyone and anyone
from the newest newbie to the experienced list building guru can hop on the
subscriber gravy train.
Remember To Earn A Reliable Income From Your Ezine You, Need A Reliable
Source Of New Subscribers. So join Diane and me now, Jump on the list building
band waggon at

How to shorten affiliate URL's and increase your click through rate
Affiliate URL's have a tendency to be long and cumbersome, and get clicked
on less often than generic URL's the easiest method of shortening them is by
using a simple meta refresh, it is also useful If your page has moved, or you
have a need to redirect your visitors automatically.
You can use a meta refresh to send them to the page of your choice.
Be careful when using this, though, especially on your main page.
Some search engines are trained to look for a meta refresh that leads from
a page stuffed with keywords to the real page, redirecting the user so quickly
that they never see the keyword-loaded page. Thus, if you refresh too quickly
(in some cases anything less than 10 seconds is too quickly) you stand the
chance of having the page pulled from the listings. Of course, if it is not
your main page, you probably won't need to worry about that.
So, how is it done? Well, here is the code that will do it:
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="2;URL=http://www.y0ursite.com/newpage.htm">
<TITLE>Page has moved</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
whatever you want to write
</BODY>
</HTML>
Notice that the refresh tag comes before your title tag. The content=" " command
does two things. It tells the browser how many seconds to wait before executing
the refresh, and then what url it should be redirected to. Be careful when you
write
this....the quote marks are around the entire content=" " command, not around
the
number of seconds or url individually. They are separated by a single semicolon
(;).
Of course, you are allowed to write whatever you need in your BODY section. So,
if you have a user with a really old browser, you may add a manual link to the
new
page inside the body section of your page:
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="2;URL=http://www.ursite.com/newpage.htm">
<TITLE>Page has moved</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
This page has moved. If your browser does not automatically redirect you in a
few
seconds,
click <A HREF="http://www.ursite.com/newpage.htm">here</A> to go to the new
page.
</BODY>
</HTML>
If you load a new folder on to your site and give it the programes name
and put the above code in the index page of that folder your affiliate url
redirect would look like this. http://www.ursite.com/affid
As a working example the affiliate url for Advertising Know-How
would be
http://www.advertisingknowhow.com/members/traffic.php
If you added a folder named traffic, and added the above html code
in the index page of that folder your Akh shortened url would look like
this http://www.y0ursite.com/traffic
Apart from being shorter it would also look like your webpage and
have a much better chance of being clicked on, by using this neat little
trick you would get many more hits to your chosen affiliate program from
any advertising you do :)

Because of filters, the less live links in an email the better chance it has
of getting through, so here is just one link to a page showing all the tools
