Dear {FIRSTNAME},
Lots of Rambling this month so go get your self a cup of coffee and put up
the do not disturb sign.
First there is another UK Meet Saturday Sept 18th 2004 in Birmingham
Following the success of our seminars in January and February this year,
we are now ready for the next UK Meet. This an amazing opportunity, no
matter how new you are to internet marketing or how long in the tooth!
Since our seminars in January and February I have heard so many stories of
how people have been inspired. Only recently have I fully learned about
the number of joint ventures that have been going on behind the scenes
So, it's a day to meet and listen to some great speakers as well as other
people like yourself who are making their way in this business.

There are a few early bird seats which Peter has set aside for AKH
subscribers at £199+vat, after they go the price will rise to £220+vat.
You can also reserve a seat with a £50+vat deposit and pay the balance
July 31st.
Let me give you guy's a tip here, a lot of the good stuff gets done in the
bar so if you can get there the night before and have a one on one
experience with people who know what their doing.
When you get a list of people like this together they cannot help but talk
shop over a drink or two and loads of worthwhile information just slips
out

Onto the next subject
Google adsense, how many are using it and more to the point how many of
you are making anything from it. The article submission service on AKH was
originally set up to give content on which to add adsense codes, so I
could leverage the earnings from the adsense programme.
However I have been trying out a new contextual ad system and am finding
that getting paid for sales is better than getting paid for clicks :)
If your getting a good clickthrough rate from your google adsense codes
then you will love this new system.
The programming for this was done by Robert Plank and I have been testing
it for him, we have become quite good friends over the last year or so (we
hurl insults at each other regularly on ICQ) and I am going to replace my
adsense codes with the clicksensor codes based on the responses from the 2
pages I have been testing them on.
You can either create an account here
clicksensor and use the codes created for free (1 in 4 of the ads will
be my affiliate ID) or you can purchase the script when it's launched and
run it on your own site.
When the new improved version is live and ready I will let you all know
For now though go play around with version in the link above and see how
clever Planky has been
Last but not least
I have spent the day doing some movies on how to use the modules in the
AKH members area to go with the one that Pearson did on the list builder.
Here are the links to watch them (ignore my accent I'm a Brit)
http://www.advertisingknowhow.com/movie/articles.html
This tutorial explains how to submit an article to the ezine owners in the
list builder, and why you should.

tThis one shows you how to add your affiliate site to the traffic
generator and how to surf for credits to get your site seen.

This is the original one done by Pearson, explaining how clever I am in
setting up the list builder in the way i did.
None of these links are live on the site yet so you are the first people
to hear my voice live on the net :)
Don't forget to visit the new forum and let me know what you think, or
even to just say hi.

Because of
filters, the less live links in an email the better chance it has of
getting through, so here is just one link to a page showing all the tools
and resources I use.
