HI Welcome to Advertising Know-How I am going to start today by blowing our own trumpet :) The list builder in Advertising Know-How is producing 5000 subscribers a month to our participating ezines, that's a huge milestone that I forecast will double over the coming months. We are making improvements to the article submission service, adding a search facility and we are about to add a mailing system where each article submitted will be sent direct to our ezine publishers, so not only will they be indexed on the site they will be distributed to the hundreds of ezine publishers that have opted in to receive them. Use the site to power your own ezine and customer growth, If you haven't done so already it's time to take a look at the list building and traffic generation tools in the AKH members area.

Now this week (I suspect you got emailed to death with this) there was a new Massive JV offer From what I can see, the offer is basically, get 50 software developers & ebook writers together to offer their exclusive wares (non-reprint right products that are available nowhere else), set up a web site promoting it, set up a sales email to promote the package, give the 50 developers & writers an affiliate link offering 75% commission, taking 25% for yourself (for setting up the system & processing the transactions), offering an instant members area for those customers to download & use the products as soon as they have paid.

Charge $500 for a $6,500 package but only offer it for a week to those who join up there and then.

The affiliates do all the work. They would promote the package themselves to their customer base, therefore offering them some other people's products and services as well as their own as maybe a taster of their products for the customer to buy other products & services at full price later on.

That is all well and good, but what to do to make it better for the affiliates to join up and give their wares away:

1. Give them a follow-up email set, of 2 extra emails which go out to their customers offering more information relating to the package and what they will receive when they buy. Follow-up emails are proven to increase response rates.

2. Provide each 'JV' partner with the details of the customers who have bought so they can add them to their own list of buyers, to help them promote their 'premium' products to their 'new' customers.

3. At the end of 7 days change the web site into a list of affiliate links, which
direct to the 'JV' partner sites so that those customers who didn't buy in time can still buy the components of the package but directly from each 'JV' partner. The site developer would therefore earn commissions based on each sale through their affiliate link. Therefore benefiting the JV partners in later sales.

But here is where the real genius is, and where the real money will be made in the long run (and I got to take my hat off to Russell for this one) the prize
was the list of proven high ticket buyers that was collected and that each of
the affiliates gained access to. What you think can be made over the coming months and years from a list of people who are prepared to spend $500 plus on your products.

Think about it 1,000 proven 'high-price' package buyers, the affiliates and package developer can now forge 'JV' partnerships with other developers & writers and offer a completely new package to those 1,000 proven 'high-price'  buyers, as well as add brand new customers to this power list.

We all just had a free lesson in leverage marketing :)
